This year CPAA has entered into their 15th edition of the Annual Art Show Colours of Life 2019.
Being a continuous participant I remember since very early days I have been showcasing my works in this fund raising charity art exhibition. Now it has been a steady involvement with the organisation.
CPAA, Cancer Patients Aids Association, one of the largest cancer NGO’s of India which has always won respect over the years for influencing people’s life in a positive and healthy way. Their efforts over time for the annual art exhibition of paintings has become successful in raising funds for underprivileged children and teaching them to fight against cancer by providing enough awareness and knowledge in it.
‘Colours of Life’ has now become one of the known art shows in Mumbai which includes paintings of over 100 eminent contemporary, emerging and master artists. Like each year this year too the paintings are of various styles along with the vast series of subjects and mediums which make this potential collection inevitable.
Horse in Motion VI | Acrylic on Canvas | 36” x-30” inches | 2019
This year two of my paintings will be there which are rather different from each other. One painting is from my new upcoming series ‘Horse in Motion’.
Mumbai CST Intersection II | Watercolor on Paper | 22” x-30” inches | 2019
Another one is on Mumbai CST intersection. This painting depicts the aerial view of the gothic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. The mood and atmosphere is of a rainy day. The roads are as busy as always which reflects the Mumbai life in monsoon.
This year’s exhibition will be at Cymroza Art Gallery, 72 Bhulabhai Desai Road, Mumbai 400 026.
From 20 September to 30 September 2019.
